Set off from the mooring at 09:20, heading through Shardlow. Rain started about 10:00, and set the scene for the rest of the day. We took a 2 hour break after Weston lock to see if the weather would improve. The rain stopped, but started again as soon as we set off.

A pretty miserable day generally, but at least the view is different heading back up the T&M. We wouldn’t normally travel in poor weather, but we are on a deadline to get back up to Northwich.

Finished the day at Willington at about 17:45, and popped to the Co-op for supplies.
At least the broad locks are out of the way.

5 locks, 12 miles
